Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs supported. The installer is signed by ClipStream LLC and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a Gatekeeper warning.
Windows 10 and 11 (x64) supported. The installer auto-creates a Start Menu entry and a desktop shortcut, and ClipStream auto-updates in the background going forward.
The trial gives you the full Unlimited tier so you can evaluate everything before deciding which plan to keep.
Yes. The macOS build is signed with a Developer ID Application certificate issued to ClipStream LLC and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a Gatekeeper warning. The Windows build is currently transitioning to Microsoft Trusted Signing — until that's live, Windows SmartScreen may show a "Windows protected your PC" dialog the first time you install. Click More info then Run anyway to proceed.
The 7-day free trial unlocks every feature on every plan — no credit card charge during the trial. After day 7, plans start at $19.99/month for Starter, $29.99/month for Pro (the recommended tier with full AI Auto-Edit), $49.99/month for Studio, and $79.99/month for Unlimited. Cancel anytime before day 8 with no charge.
macOS 11 (Big Sur) or newer on Apple Silicon or Intel; Windows 10 or 11 on x64. 4 GB of RAM is the practical minimum, 8 GB is comfortable for monitoring multiple streams. Disk: ~250 MB for the app itself, plus whatever you need for captured clips. Stable internet connection required for stream monitoring.
Download the .dmg installer, double-click to mount it, then drag the ClipStream icon into the Applications folder. Eject the disk image, open ClipStream from Applications, and sign in or create an account inside the app to start your 7-day free trial.
Download the Setup .exe installer and double-click it. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click More info then Run anyway. The installer creates a Start Menu entry and a desktop shortcut, then launches ClipStream so you can sign in.
On macOS, drag the ClipStream app from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find ClipStream, click the three-dot menu, and choose Uninstall. Your captured clips remain in your chosen Raw Clips folder — they're not deleted with the app.
By default, clips are saved to a folder called Raw Clips in your home directory. You can change the destination at any time from Settings → Default export folder. Clips are stored locally only — ClipStream never uploads your recordings anywhere.
Yes. ClipStream uses electron-updater to check for new versions on startup and once an hour while running. New versions download in the background and apply on the next app restart, so you stay on the latest release without manual reinstalls.
